Preventive Care Services

Our office provides preventative care for the entire family. We see children for their first exam around two years old and begin to help them learn the essentials of tooth care as they grow.

We place a great deal of emphasis on homecare as this is the key to good oral health, and consistent habits such as good brushing and flossing can simply prevent decay and gum disease before they start.

During your exam, we use the latest in dental technology to help diagnose any problems that may exist. Intraoral cameras allow us to project an image of an individual tooth or area of concern onto a chair side viewing monitor for use as a visual aid. We also perform a comprehensive examination including periodontal charting and x-rays. The quicker and more accurately we can diagnose problems such as periodontal disease and decay, the easier the treatment and more predictable the results will be.
